Suitable for any activity where foam is not desired. It is a silicone-based liquid product specially produced to prevent foam formation in industrial waste waters. It is highly effective in preventing the foam formed as a result of reactions, especially in biological facilities.
In order to get an accelerated effect, it is necessary to inject the product downstream of the flocculation treatment or directly into the bioaeration tank and into the biosettlement tank outlet, exploiting the effect of the previously existing flaked absorbent effect.
Operating Parameters
- It varies between 5 ppm and 200 ppm, and the amount of product is put in as much as the foam density in the water needs.
- It is very important that the pH range of the water is 7.5-8.5.
- The temperature of the water should not be below 5 °C.
